I currently participate in World Vision Child Sponsorship. How can I change this to go via Power to Give?
If you currently sponsor a child outside of Power to Give, you need to enter both the $ donation amount (this will depend on the frequency of your pay cycle) and your Supporter ID into Power to Give.
You'll need your Supporter ID as part of this process, so please contact World Vision on 13 32 40 to get this, before you begin the setup.
Nb if you support multiple World Vision children, you do not need the Children IDs, you only need to enter your Supporter ID into Power to Give.
Once you have your Supporter ID, please follow these steps:
1.Login to Power to Give
2.Click on 'edit account'
3.Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the 'supporter ids' button
4.Add your Supporter id details and click 'save'
5.Close the Supporter ID pop up window by clicking on the X in the top right hand corner
6.Click the 'save' button that's next to the 'supporter ids' button and we can move onto entering your donation $ amount.
7.Now you need to set up the amount of your donation so click on the Workplace Giving folder (left hand navigation panel)
8.Click 'add more'.
9.When you see the Donate page, search the Charity drop down list for World Vision. Your screen will refresh & you'll see the World Vision page
10.Scroll down to see the World Vision projects and locate the Child Sponsorship project that relates to your pay cycle frequency. If you are paid weekly, please choose the option for $12 per week. If you're paid fortnightly please choose the option for $24 per fortnight. If you are paid monthly, choose the option for $48 per month.
11.Click the 'add to workplace giving' button
12.If you have more that one sponsored child, you can change the quantity (ie the multiple of your donation) once you see the donation in your basket.
13.If you would like to add more donations to your basket please click 'add more'
